ABOUT 2806

Originally built by a man named George Puchta in 1935, 2806 is the site of Rockway Beach's first Post Office & General Store. George's, as many locals know it, was and remains the gateway into Rockaway. It sits right in the bend of State Highway 176 where the horizon opens and Lake Taneycomo fills your view.

This site has served many purposes through the years, from the original General Store & Post Office, to the Lighthouse Restaurant of the mid 20th Century to now. Nearly 90 years later - 2806 has been revitalized and once again is made available to serve this charming, quaint and historic fishing town just outside Branson, Missouri.
